Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer is a country singer, songwriter and actor who rose to stardom on the television screen when she was played by Alex on One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. In episodes of the show the singer-songwriter performed her country debut albums. Her album of the same title was featured within the Top 20. Thirty One, the follow-up album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. Her decade ended by appearing in Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. In 2021, she released the self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, grew to love the country genre. Later she would pursue the career of a recording artist. However, her first role acting in the indie horror flick Dead/Undead at the age of 22 when she was a teenager. Following a couple of guest appearances in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's role as a regular in NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer went on to portray Portia Ranson on 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was offered the role of One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until about half-way through the final season (2012). Her two-month appearance on the Dancing with the Stars 23rd season ended in her placing fourth. The same year, she made a splash with an adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels like Christmas.
